Rest Days
  • Rest Days are just as important as workout days. Someone super motivated wanting to get fit and healthy, burn fat or build muscle won't be able to without a rest day. Putting your body through continual stress releases the hormone cortisol (also called the "stress hormone). While putting your body through some stress is good, having too much can actually inhibit your body from burning fat. And instead, hold on to the fat contributing to the opposite desired effects. So, someone really motivated to shed fat, working out 2-4 hours a day, everyday, and is completely gassed, completely sore, you're doing your body no good!! Make sure you rest and have the proper intake of your macronutrients. Beautiful things take time : )
